Hair Apart is a Hairdressing Salon based in Cromwell. Kylie prides the business on their passion and professionalism. Their team offers a full range of hairdressing services with the talent of internationally experienced stylists.

We met Kylie a few years ago when she was working in the local hair salon. A short time later the opportunity emerged to take over the business and she jumped at the chance. Having never run a business before she found it challenging to understand her financials and didn’t recognise what her accountants were doing for her. She was focused on raising the profile of her business but was spending a lot of money, with no clear direction of where she wanted to take the business.

Working with Kylie, we identified opportunities and the potential directions her business could take. As a one-woman band, decision making around staffing and pricing was demanding but also very crucial. We assisted her through making these choices, taking on the role of her sounding board and providing the information she required to make the important decisions.

Kylie now has effective budgets, and understands her financial results and how she can use these to inform her future decision making. She is very proactive in her business and has developed a sound knowledge of all the factors required to keep the business humming.
